This Privacy Policy explains how the JogaCom app ("JogaCom", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects the personal data of people who use the app ("you"). By using JogaCom, you agree to the practices described here. We process your data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — "LGPD").

1. Data controller

JogaCom is a product of Stepy Studios. For any privacy matter, contact our data protection officer at privacidade@jogacom.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email and profile photo. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information those providers share.
• Location: with your permission, we use the device location to show nearby events and to validate in-person check-in at games. You can revoke this permission at any time in your phone settings.
• Photos and camera: when you add a profile photo or an image to an event, we access the camera or gallery — only for the content you choose to upload.
• Content you create: events, messages in event chats, trophies, favorites and participation history.
• Usage and device data: technical information such as device model, operating system and identifiers needed for the app to work and to keep it secure.
• Notifications: an identifier used to send push notifications, if you enable them.
• Advertising: on the free plan we show ads via Google AdMob, which may use the device's advertising identifiers.

We do not collect sensitive data (such as health, biometrics or racial origin) nor financial data such as card numbers.

3. How we use your data

• Create and manage your account and profile.
• Show nearby sporting events and let you create, join and organize games.
• Enable in-person check-in and the delivery of rewards (coins, gems, coupons and trophies).
• Send notifications about events, messages and news, when authorized.
• Show and measure ads on the free plan.
• Prevent fraud and abuse and keep the platform secure.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (LGPD)

We process your data based on the performance of a contract (providing the app's service), consent (e.g., location, notifications and camera), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention and service improvement) and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Coins, gems and coupons

Coins and gems are virtual items with no monetary value, which cannot be withdrawn or converted into money, used only inside JogaCom to redeem benefits and partner coupons. Coupons are offered by partner businesses and their use may be subject to the partner's own rules.

6. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with providers that operate the service on our behalf (data processors):

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage infrastructure.
• Google — Google sign-in, Google Maps (maps and location) and Google AdMob (ads).
• Apple — Apple sign-in, when you choose that option.
• OneSignal — push notification delivery.

Part of this infrastructure may process data on servers outside Brazil. In those cases, we adopt safeguards compatible with the LGPD for the international transfer.

Your public profile information (such as name, photo and trophies) and the content you post in events and chats may be visible to other users of the platform.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active or for as long as necessary for the purposes above and to comply with legal obligations. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize the data, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request at any time: confirmation of and access to your data, correction of incomplete or outdated data, anonymization or deletion, portability, information about data sharing, and withdrawal of consent.

You can delete your account directly in the app (Profile → Delete account) or send a request to privacidade@jogacom.com.

9. Children and teenagers

JogaCom is not intended for children under 13. Minors should only use the app with the consent and supervision of their guardians.

10. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as access control and encrypted traffic. No system is 100% immune, but we continuously work to reduce risks.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When there is a relevant change, we will notify you through the app or by email. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version.
