These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the JogaCom app ("JogaCom", "we"), a product of Stepy Studios. By creating an account or using the app, you ("user") agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any item, do not use the app. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a JogaCom account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any item, do not use the app.

2. Use of the app

JogaCom connects players and organizers of sporting events. You agree to use the app respectfully and honestly toward other users.

3. User content

You are responsible for the information you publish (events, photos, messages). Do not publish content that is offensive, illegal, or that violates third-party rights.

4. Paid events

The registration fee shown for each event is set by the organizer and charged directly between the parties (for example, via PIX). JogaCom does not intermediate payments nor guarantee refunds.

5. Cancellation and participation

Cancelling your participation very close to the event's start time can harm the other players. In case of recurring behavior, the user may be limited or banned.

6. Privacy and data

We collect strictly the data necessary for the app to work (name, email, photo, location). Your profile photo is stored on our CDN (Cloudflare R2); if you prefer not to upload a photo, you can choose one of the default avatars ("Jota's friends"), which are public images shared among users and are not considered your personal data. For push notifications we use OneSignal — a device identifier is associated with your account. We do not sell your data to third parties. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

7. Public profile and visibility

Other users can see your public profile with your name, photo, plan, liked events, events you are participating in, and events you created (excluding cancelled ones). Trophies you receive are also visible. We do not show your email or address to other users.

8. Messages, trophies and prizes

Direct messages (DMs) between users are a Premium plan feature. For public events, we automatically create a group chat; whoever joins the event joins the chat. Trophies may be awarded by the organizer after the event ends — they stay linked to your profile until the organizer removes them or you delete your account. In managed events (Championship mode), the standings and podium trophies are generated automatically. Real-world prizes (physical trophies, money, gifts) announced by the organizer are their sole responsibility: JogaCom does not distribute prizes nor intermediate their delivery. The in-app rewards (coins and gems for check-in and trophies) are the only ones granted by the platform.

9. Coins, gems and coupons

Coins (🪙) and gems (💎) are virtual items with no monetary value, which cannot be withdrawn or converted into money outside the app, used only inside JogaCom to redeem benefits, paid plans and partner coupons. Coupons are offered by partner businesses and their use may be subject to rules, validity and availability defined by the partner. Redeemed coupons are not refundable in coins or gems.

10. Account closure

You can delete your account at any time in Profile → "Delete my account" (in the footer). To confirm, you type your own email. Deletion is permanent and erases: your profile and personal photo (if any), event registrations, likes, trophies, sent messages, saved addresses and preferences. Future events you organize will be cancelled automatically and participants notified. Past events you organized remain visible to participants, but with the organizer anonymized, to preserve everyone else's history. We keep a minimal audit record (deletion date + optional reason) for the time needed to comply with legal obligations.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Relevant changes will be communicated by in-app notification or by email. The "last updated" date at the top indicates the current version.
